is originally from Alabama, where he started to enjoy creative writing in the sixth grade. He currently lives in North Carolina, and teaches middle school language arts.  His three books in A Lion Tale series include The Heart of a King, The Heart of a Friend  and The Heart of a Brother.  Curtis also has a picture blog called i-Sky Wonders with incredible sky pictures.
